Rather than looking for a specialist doctor on your own, we can guide you through the whole process. We partner with hospitals and specialty clinics to help you work with a developmental paediatrician who has deep knowledge in your child’s disability.

This allows you to receive tailored medical guidance to support:

• Care planning
• Access to specialty services

PLEASE NOTE: Our Developmental Paediatrics service is for families who have received a referral letter from their primary care provider.

Who we support

Developmental paediatricians support children and youth (ages 0-18) who have:

• Developmental delays
• Intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD)
• Complex physical or mental health issues
• Undiagnosed developmental disorders

What to expect

Inquire

Once you inquire, we’ll be in touch to start the registration process.

Assessments

We’ll help you schedule specialized paediatric assessments, which may include assessing developmental and behavioural concerns or helping you obtain a diagnosis.

Care Plan

When the assessments are complete, your paediatrician will develop a comprehensive care plan. This may include helping you access other medical services your child or teenager needs and providing care recommendations for your family or other physicians.
