Communication Essentials
- This service includes:
- A communication assessment
- An initial planning session with a speech-language pathologist
- Seven 1-to-1 treatment sessions using goal-directed activities and caregiver coaching
- Summary report with progress and next-step recommendations
Prerequisite Skills
Your child is a great fit if they:
- Clients in our autism speech-language programs must:
- Be aged 4 years or older
- Have been diagnosed with autism by a licensed professional
- Have a communication need within a specific communication domain that requires intervention (articulation, oral motor, receptive language, expressive language, fluency, voice, literacy)
- Be able to sit and maintain attention for an hour, with breaks if needed, to participate in intervention with caregiver
