Social Time

Is your child working on building confidence with peers and learning to make friends? This program focuses on developing non-verbal communication skills with goals like:

Looking at their peer when starting and ending a conversation
Identifying emotions through facial expressions
Understanding body language and corresponding emotions
Practicing conversation skills and introductions through roleplay

Your child is a great fit if they:

Speak in full sentences (e.g., “let’s go to the park”)
Ask “who,” “what,” “where,” “when,” and “why” questions.
Will independently initiate and return greetings (e.g., say “hi” and “bye”)
Can focus on a group activity for up to 15 minutes

This program is not suitable if your child:

Does not yet speak in full sentences
Persistently refuse interaction with peers
Displays behaviours that could cause injury or require emergency help
